Getting Creative: Lewisham Learners Put on Thinking Hats to Create Stories
Young learners on the English and Maths GCSE course at Lewisham College put their creativity to the test at a writing workshop delivered by the Colleges’ Learning Centre team. Each learner was given the same passage which had multiple blank spaces throughout, allowing them to narrate and create their own stories by changing different words.
During the workshop, each learner had the opportunity to speak aloud their story in front of the group, allowing them to see the different perspectives and narrating styles which helped to build on their communication skills and confidence in public speaking.
