Today, our Digital students travelled to the Northwest Computer Museum for a private tour and a practical experience on the different computing technologies across the decades from computers like Apple II, Commodare Pet, Timex Sinclairs, Apple Lisa, Amstrads to consoles like the Sega Megadrive, Nintendo 64, Playstation 1 and so much more! 😄 Students then took part in a teacher-led experience, learning Basic programming using BBC Micro-Computer Systems to create their own flying rocket-ship! When they weren’t busy with the hosted tour and programming session, our learners had the opportunity to play with different arcade machines and explore a wide range of technologies that the museum had to offer. A big thank you to North-West Computer Museum team for hosting this event for our Digital students and we look forward to bringing our students there again in the future! 😊 ⭐ Apply today! ⭐ https://www.westlancs.ac.uk/subject-areas/computer-science/16-18-college/
