💫 Celebrating Student Success at the UKMT Senior Team Maths Challenge!
On Thursday 27th November, a team of our talented students proudly represented the college at the UKMT Senior Team Maths Challenge at Durham Sixth Form Centre.
Our team - Alexander Brimer, Enoch Asaolu, Minh Bui and Martyna Flisikowska - were selected after achieving outstanding results in the individual Senior Maths Challenge earlier this term.
In the morning, students took part in a series of lectures delivered by maths lecturers and PhD researchers from Durham University, before tackling the main team challenge in the afternoon. Competing against schools and colleges from across the North East, they worked collaboratively to solve a range of demanding mathematical problems.
💡 The team performed brilliantly and were commended for both their exceptional teamwork and mathematical ability.
Well done to all four students for representing NSFC with such dedication and enthusiasm - we are incredibly proud🎉
