Our Year 12 students have recently visited the beautiful South Shields coastline as part of the fieldwork element of their Geography course. They worked in groups to investigate how effective the coastal defences are at protecting the coastline and explored which areas are more at risk of coastal erosion and flooding in the future.
Every single student worked really well through the day despite getting extremely wet in the morning and sunburnt in the afternoon!
