We've well and truly kicked off Industry Week at Newcastle College with a bang! Over the week our students will connect, learn and gain real-world insights from 250+ industry professionals!
Here’s just some of the amazing sessions that have taken place today:
🔹 The Chloe & Liam Together Forever Trust launched an exciting live brief for our business students.
🔹 Our Careers Fair welcomed 26 employers, offering students insights into jobs, placements, volunteering, and apprenticeships.
🔹 We were joined by two former students (including one who worked as a Game of Thrones makeup artist!) who shared their career journeys and memories of being at Newcastle College.
🔹 Loud Speaker delivered an inspiring enterprise masterclass to our students.
🔹 CGI and DWP ran skills workshops on agile working, preparing business students for the future of work.
🔹 Nearly 200 students attended an insightful fireside chat with a panel of industry professionals, gaining valuable advice on preparing for the evolving world of work.
