Students from Hedleys College are delivering a programme of Disability Awareness Presentations for our Level 1 Health Learners.
Hedleys College - Part of the Percy Hedley Foundation - is a local specialist FE provider for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
These sessions - which were designed by the Hedleys College students and have been shortlisted for a British Diversity Award - focus on raising awareness of how society can adapt to ensure everyone with a disability is given an equal opportunity and are not discriminated against.
