Newcastle College apprentice Megan Douglas named 2026 British Gypsum Plastering Apprentice of the Year!
Megan is currently in the first year of her plastering apprenticeship, but has already achieved incredible success. Earlier this year, she represented the College at the Northern Inter College Skills Competition, where she competed against second and third-year apprentices and took home first place.
She also impressed judges at the regional heat of SkillBuild and continues to demonstrate outstanding professionalism, dedication and practical skills both at college and in the workplace.
Megan works for A Douglas Construction Ltd and is already showing the leadership qualities and commitment needed for a successful career in the construction industry.
