Students from Newcastle College and Newcastle College University Centre have returned from a life-changing volunteering programme in South Africa, where they supported more than 800 children and young people through sport, leadership and education as part of the Bambisanani Partnership.
Over three weeks, they stepped outside their comfort zones, developed valuable employability skills and made a lasting impact on the communities they visited – while returning home with new perspectives, greater confidence and unforgettable memories.
