Future female engineers taking centre stage π©βπ§β¨
To celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, our amazing female engineering students spent the day taking part in a series of inspiring sessions led by industry professionals.
From building confidence and tackling imposter syndrome with Emma Hughes, to exploring the world of budgeting and costings with Chloe McCulloch (Haskoning), the day was all about developing skills for the future in a supportive and encouraging environment.
There was also plenty of creativity, as students designed and 3D printed their own coasters - bringing their ideas to life and putting their technical skills into practice.
The day finished on a high with a fun teamwork challenge led by Melissa Wolfe (Draeger), where students put their heads together for a collaborative LEGO activity.
A big thank you to all of our guest speakers for sharing their time, knowledge and experience. Weβre so proud to support the next generation of women in engineering π
