Our talented Level 5 Media students recently coordinated a live-streaming project for the North East Combined Authority Creative Careers Week.
Working with the Combined Authority as an external client, the students broadcast a dynamic event live on YouTube to junior and secondary schools across the North East. This was an amazing opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity.
The stream, hosted from the Peter Sarah Theatre, featured inspiring contributions from North East Screen, Live Theatre, New Writing North, Generator, and more. Adding extra sparkle to the day was local actor, presenter, and personality Alfie Joey.
This collaboration wasn’t just about technical know-how; it was about teamwork, professionalism, and giving students a real-world experience that will stay with them throughout their careers.
