Ayo and Izzy, two of our Design, Surveying and Planning students, spent one day a week on placement with leading construction and property service BAM and they loved it!
For one day each week, they swapped the classroom for a live construction site, getting involved in:
👷♀️ surveying and drainage work
📐 bringing their CAD plans to life on-site
🔧 using advanced engineering tools and equipment
🤝 working side‑by‑side with professional site managers
The best part for Ayo? Seeing their CAD drawings come to life on site.
