Over the weekend, four of our talented Hospitality students went head-to-head in Newcastle’s Next Best Chef Cook-Off at The Newcastle Food Festival!
Hosted by Anthony O'Shaughnessy, our students kicked off the action on both Saturday and Sunday with a live cook-off, which involved cooking in front of a packed crowd, followed by audience tasting their dishes to help decide the winner.
Huge congratulations to Declan Dale, Cameron Norman-Moyle, Haesten Godson, and Jacob Fairweather – you absolutely smashed it and did Newcastle College proud!
It was extremely close on both days but we would like to give a special shoutout to Cameron and Haesten, who took the win on their respective days – a fantastic achievement.
