Michael Williams and Leo Baldwin have both successfully completed our General Operative Skills Bootcamp, building the skills and confidence needed to take the next step into construction.
Michael, who has over 15 years’ experience as a shopfitter and carpenter, joined the bootcamp to renew his CSCS card and get back on site. During the course, he gained first aid training, strengthened his health and safety knowledge, and is now feeling confident returning to work.

Leo, 22, joined the course to gain the skills he needed to get into the industry. Throughout the bootcamp, he developed practical experience in bricklaying, fencing and joinery, while also improving his communication skills and confidence.
“I’ve learned skills I never thought I would and it’s really helped build my confidence for the future.”
