Preparation for Public Service students have attended a presentation and workshop delivered by North Cumbria Search and Rescue this week.
🚨The students discovered the role of the team and how they work alongside the Fire and Rescue Service and the Police.
🚨They learned about the dangers of entering cold water such as river and lakes on a hot day.
🚨They also learned strategies to stay safe and what to do in the event of an emergency.
