🚶♂️🌆 Pre‑Supported Interns Take On Carlisle! 🌆🚶♀️
As part of their travel training, our Pre‑Supported Interns planned and completed a brilliant visit into Carlisle city centre this week. Their route included stops at Carlisle Cathedral, Tullie House, and even an unexpected biscuit hunt along the way! 🍪😄
No trip would be complete without a break, so they headed to Cakes and Ale for the essential morning treat - with plenty of cakes and drinks enjoyed by all. ☕🍰
Students also practised using a variety of pedestrian crossings, building essential independence and confidence. To top it off, they planned their upcoming visit to Hexham, which they’ll complete in a couple of weeks using two forms of public transport. 🚌🚆
