We are incredibly proud to announce the launch of our Persimmon Academy, an exciting new partnership which will see this state-of-the-art training facility equip our students with the practical skills and real-world experience needed to thrive in the construction and housing industry.

Our apprentices will focus on bricklaying, joinery and roofing overseen by the college’s built environment team, supported by @Persimmon Homes' Regional Apprentice Manager, Michael Johnson.

We were delighted to also welcome @Chi Onwurah MP, MP for Newcastle Central to campus for the official launch. Chi's visit highlighted the importance of nurturing talent and fostering strong community and industry partnerships. It was a pleasure to share our vision and show first hand how this collaboration will positively impact the next generation of skilled workers in our region.
