⚽ Our Level 3 Year 2 Business students had an incredible day at Newcastle United Football Club yesterday.

The day kicked off with an exclusive stadium tour before the students were split into teams to compete in an Enterprise Challenge and take part in group activities aimed at boosting commercial revenue for NUFC 🚀

The winning idea was to create a Newcastle United Football Club App.

The App would have ads from the commercial sponsors of the club with discounts for those businesses via the app. The App would also act as a portal for season ticket holders to sell their tickets if they were unable to attend any matches, with money going to NUF and the club.

Reason for the win from the NUF team: The team had conducted great research into other football clubs and how they use their apps to maximise engagement and revenue. The presentation was clear, everyone contributed, it was creatively and professionally presented with a real enthusiasm for the challenge.
