Our super talented Catering and Hospitality students competed in the North East Culinary and Trade Awards (NECTA) inter-college competition at the @Crowne Plaza Newcastle - Stephenson Quarter yesterday.
Congratulations to all of our competitors, and a massive well done to our seven gold, four silver and four bronze place winners.
The students competed against their peers from Gateshead, Sunderland, Northumberland and Middlesbrough colleges, plus New College Durham.

The competition was judged by Great British Menu winner Cal Byerley, Head Chef at 21, Chris Dobson, and Chefs from St. James' Park, Tom Connor and Dave Kennedy.
