Street Doctors Visit Southwark
Students at Southwark College recently had the unique opportunity to take part in an inspiring Reducing Violence workshop led by Street Doctors, a national charity dedicated to equipping young people with lifesaving first-aid skills.
The sessions focused on practical, hands-on training for real-life emergencies. Students learned how to respond if someone is bleeding heavily from a wound or has become unconscious. Through interactive demonstrations and scenario-based activities, learners practiced how to call an ambulance, stem blood loss, place someone in the recovery position, and deliver chest compressions if needed.
